1 month to go

Well it's been too long since I last posted something. I just found out today that one of my texts from my specialist subject has been dropped! Yes! That means I only have 8 to do instead of 9! Well that's not too bad. I've nearly finished one of them, so only 7 to go. My first week back was quite uneventful, I went to Brest on Wednesday to Oceanopolis (I think is how it is spelt). There are 3 or 4 different aquariums, that have all sorts of sealife in them. It's basically like a massive Deep Sea World, with penguins and everything. I saw some huge fish, bit scary if you were just swimming casually and you saw that beneath you. Also, wasn't so keen when I saw a giant spider crab, the biggest in the world, they can span up to 3m! Other than that I have just been doing the usual stuff, chilling around the flat and counting down the days until Lyndsay comes to visit me! She arrives on Friday so I am really looking forward to it! Then a week today Al arrives as well. It'll be great having some visitors - they will be my first visitors from Scotland since I got here! I have a month left here, it has passed so quickly!

Well best get on with something productive, have a good week everyone!

Go me Go

Right Mike, it's a competition! Who can finish the 2nd essay first! Haha!! I am proud of myself as I felt relatively motivated today to do some work, and I have written nearly 1000 words and have nearly finished my 2nd essay! Oh yes Mike it is coming along quickly! Still have a mound of reading to do for 4th year, but at least the essays are nearly out of the way!! It has been a really lovely day today, despite the forecast being rain, but I have been dedicated doing my work!

Our new arrival...

The latest addition to my family is our new puppy, called Ollie, who is a black lab. He is only 9 weeks old now, and very cute! Too small to go on any real walks, and is in the process of terrorising the cats. He doesn't really understand what they are, and they don't like him, so any time he gets too close he receives a slap on the nose!

Anyway sorry it has been such a long time since I updated my blog, I've been at home for 2 weeks on holiday! It was such a great two weeks being in my house with my family. For those of you whom I didn't see, I'm sorry I just didn't have much time, it seemed to fly by. But I'll be back in about a month and a halfish. I did manage to see quite a few of you and I am so grateful that you took some time out from studying to have a coffee or lunch. It was great to have a catch up with what's been happening whilst I haven't been there. It's nice weather here in Brittany, it started to rain yesterday though as soon as I stepped off the plane! But today it is much better. Back to work on Tuesday, as it is a holiday weekend. Then in 2 weeks I have Lyndsay coming to visit me, then Al is coming the week after. So I'm really looking forward to that!

Good luck to you all with exams!!!
